The front cover this month was taken at last year’s char-
ity firework display at Buckden Marina by our photo edi-
tor Alec MacAndrew
We are always looking for photos, images, drawings and
paintings to use on the front cover so please keep send-
ing them in. Please note that photos should ideally be in
portrait format and should be a
minimum
of 2400 x
1700 pixels. More is better!
All advertisements and non-advertising material are printed in
good faith. However neither the Buckden Roundabout nor
the Buckden Parish Council can accept any responsibility for

As we move inexorably toward the end of another calendar year, it is inevitable we need to start looking at the
Xmas period and to what 2018 may have in store. We have just completed our copy date and distribution plan for
2018. Copies will have been given to all distributors in October, and a copy is available to view on our website.
I’d like to take this opportunity to invite all our distributors (and their cover) to join us for a Christmas Coffee morn-
ing on Thursday 21st December at 10.30 AM. We’ll meet in the Living Stones Room - attached to St Mary’s Church.
Whilst I am talking about dates, I’d like to remind all our readers that we maintain a calendar on the Buckden
Roundabout website showing all events we are aware of taking place in the village. This is updated regularly based
on articles and notices we receive for inclusion. If you are planning an event, it may be worth taking the time to re-
view the calendar to avoid any clashes with our village events. If you already have an event planned, do check it is
included in the calendar. If it isn’t, let us know and we’ll gladly add it for you!
