ever we are very grateful. We are currently looking for au-

We are always looking for photos, images, drawings and
paintings to use on the front cover so please keep sending
them in. Please note that photos should ideally be in portrait
format and should be a
of 2400 x 1700 pixels.

The recent decision of the Public Inquiry to allow the appeal to develop up to 180 houses off Lucks Lane has resulted
in several letters and articles this month. See the Parish Council page, the District Councillor’s report and Letters to
the Editor. We are delighted to have an article written by one of our residents, Mark Ward, whose book on local
wildlife is heavily based on observations of wildlife in and around Buckden. The article, Wildlife on your Doorstep,
contains exclusive extracts from the book as well as from Mark’s wildlife diary. We also have the runner-up in our
Writing Competition and lots of other interesting content this month. We hope you enjoy it..
As summer turns to autumn, we are looking for autumnal photos and artwork for our front cover. See details below.
Please remember to visit the Roundabout website. There are often articles there that we could not fit into the print
edition, as well as information that arrives during the month:
