The league have pledged to finish our season properly this year – which will mean games being played until the end of May, something I ’ m sure our supporters will welcome! Our club continues to take great steps to ensure the safety of all players, officials and spectators including hand sanitis- ing stations around our pitches, social distancing on the side lines and ensuring everyone in attendance registers to en- sure that track and trace can work efficiently. Butler Residential Our club sponsor, Butler Residential, have been very gener- ously donating £50 for every property listed with them, for a limited period. Our payments received from them have so far enabled us to purchase some excellent new line markers and paint which will not only save us money in the future, but also the time of our coaches and other volunteers who mark our pitches for us. A huge thank you to Laura and Barry from Butler Residential for this extremely generous gesture. If you are looking to move and wanted to support the club – you can contact But- ler Residential on 01480 775355. Details of our Dribblers and Development sessions Our Dribblers sessions - which will also return from the start of April - are now split into two - older dribblers (school year 1) and younger dribblers (age 3 and above). Older dribblers play on a Saturday from 9am, younger dribblers play on a Sunday morning from 9am. We also run weekly development sessions. The aim of these sessions is to give children aged U7 - U10 (school years 2 - 5) a chance to learn the skills they need to assist them in the future with finding a team – please contact us for more de- tails. For more information on the club, joining a team or the com- mittee please contact our Chairman Michael Lander via bjfc- chairman@hotmail.com . All of us at BJFC would like to thank all our players, parents, coaches and supporters for all the amazing help, patience, trust and support you ’ ve given us all in an unprecedented and unusual year. Football, like all sports, represents far more than just the game for so many and we will be here to support all our young players and their families in whatever way they need us as we return to the pitches.
