Your support is much appreciated. Do come to the quizzes and don't forget Coffee and cakes are available on the first Satur- day of every month 10.30 - 12 noon in the church. Pat & Brian King Do you remember the Coronation? “ My mother was an excellent seamstress. She made my broth- er a soldier ’ s costume complete with a top hat and me a crino- line dress. She bought the para- sol. We both had our photos in the newspaper. There was a street party, that I vaguely recall, and dancing around a colourful ribboned maypole. ” This memory was shared with us but the event was not held in Buckden. What can you remember of the Coronation celebra- tions? Would you like to share those memories with us?
