At the present time particularly watch out for unsolicited emails claiming to be from health bodies, such as the NHS, the World Health Organisation and the Centre for Disease Control. Watch out for grammar and spelling errors, for example typos such as no spaces after commas. E - mails that do not address you by name - all legitimate emails from services you have accounts with will always ad- dress you by name. Phishing emails usually start with Dear Sir or Dear Customer. Security researcher, Digital Shadows, says that more than 1,400 domains linked to the COVID - 19 disease have been reg- istered in the past three months. Fake domains - scammers often set up website addresses that look legitimate in order to trick you. If you have been scammed, please report details to Action Fraud, the UK ’ s national centre for reporting fraud and cyber- crime. You will receive support; this is not your fault, you are honest and the scammer is to blame for being dishonest.
