19 Buckden Roundabout August 2024 Village News Hedgehogs The Huntingdonshire Local Group of the Wildlife Trust is pleased to welcome Judith Large on Wednesday 11 th Septem- ber at 7.30pm at Brampton Memorial Hall. Judith is a retired lecturer and long - standing volunteer at Shep- reth Hedgehog Hospital. Shepreth Hedgehog Hospital is a specialist setting where sick and injured hedgehogs are treated and then released back to the wild. It is open 365 days of the year and in the last 10 years they have rescued over 5,000 hedgehogs. As well as information about the treatment at the hospital, Judith will include information about hedgehogs in general and practical things you can do in your garden and community to support them. Everyone is most welcome to attend. Booking is not neces- sary. The charge is £3.50 and payment is by cash or card. We meet at Brampton Memorial Hall, Thrapston Road, Brampton, PE28 4TB.
