St Mary ’ s - Net Zero Demonstrator Church We are very pleased to announce that St Mary's Buck- den has been accepted to the Net Zero Demonstrator Church programme and is one of the first 18 churches to be receiving a Stage 1 preparatory grant of up to £18,000 for professional advice and support. A national press release was sent out on Thursday 4th July. The £5.2M Demonstrator Churches project from the Church of England ’ s Net Zero Programme aims to help 114 churches in 2024 and 2025 pay for items such as solar panels, heat pumps, insulation, secondary glazing, LED lighting and infrared heating systems.
