February 2021

19 Buckden Roundabout February 2021 For Your Diary Huntingdonshire Health Walk Scheme FEBRUARY 2021 HM Government's message on 4th January in relation to the pandemic was that a third Lockdown was going to become law in England on 6th January 2021. This lockdown does not forbid exercise, but it was stated that "you can walk with one person but not with a group.....once a day". Thus, HDC's health walk schemes have had to be discon- tinued for the time being. So please note that the Health Walk programme for February published last month is now cancelled. There is no knowing when the group/s will be able to walk together again, but next month's "Roundabout" will confirm the situation. Meanwhile, newspapers and other media formats will provide daily updates. Please do not contact Active Lifestyles for the time being as all Centres are closed and there is minimal office cover due to staff having been furloughed. There are details of many other "safe" local walks in booklet form at the following address: https://www.huntingdonshire.gov.uk/leisure/health - walks/ Please remember that, during lockdown, a walking "group" can have only 2 people if from separate households MONDAY CLUB We are a social group of ladies who meet fortnightly at 2.30pm in the Millard Suite at Buckden Village Hall. As you will already know, all Monday Club meetings have unfortunately had to be suspended for the im- mediate future.
