We continue to hold the village in our prayers. On 7th November Bea Munday, Buckden resident, long time Buckden Quilter and retired Health Visitor, died peacefully surrounded by love after a short battle with cancer. Bea was a nurse, District Nurse and Health Visitor for over 45 years specialising in Child Protection. Bea had lived all over the world and aged 83 returned to Buckden in 2019 from Devonport, New Zealand. Bea was a funny, loving, strong and remarkable woman - loved deeply by friends and family. We will miss her always. Our deepest thanks to the incredible team of Apple Tree Ward, Hinchingbrooke Hospital for their astonishing care. The Christmas tree recycling scheme is a fun, community event where volunteers collect Christmas trees from local homes and businesses who have registered their tree online and made a voluntary donation to East Anglia Children ’ s hos- pices EACH will be collecting Christmas trees on 14 th 15 th 16 th & 17 th January 2021.
