12 Buckden Roundabout January 2025 For your diary Friends of Buckden Towers We have been getting organised for 2025. Please have a look at our planned events below and make a note in your diary. Spring Quiz Night On Friday, 14 th March 2025 , 7.30pm on- wards, you can test your knowledge in teams of 6 at our Quiz Night. £5 entry fee, with prizes for the winning team. Please bring your own refreshments. AE Housman Talk On Wednesday, 23 rd April 2025 , 7.30pm onwards, we will host a talk on life and times of AE Housman, author of A Shropshire Lad, who was also a Cambridge academic. The cost will be £12, which includes a glass of wine. Buckden Plant Sale On Saturday May 17 th 2025 , between 11am - 3pm, our favour- ite nurseries will return with the opportunity for you to buy beautiful and unusual plants, direct from the growers. Deli- cious refreshments will, of course, be available. Entry fee to the sale will be £3 but without charge to all FoBT members. AGM Thursday, 19 th June 2025 Alison Weir talk Alison Weir, renowned historical writer, will return to give another talk, following the success of her evening at The Tow- ers in 2024.
