I would like to say a very big THANK YOU to everyone in- cluding Chequers shoe shop who contributed to the Shoe- box Appeal as 369 shoeboxes were collected. It is a won- derful achievement by everyone. We beat our target of 310 boxes This means that some needy children in poor coun- tries will have a happier Christmas, as they will receive a shoebox from Buckden sent with love.
