15 Buckden Roundabout July 2021 Sports Buckden Junior Football Club Over the coming few weeks, our teams will each be holding their end of season presentations. Unfortunately, we were not able to hold our usual joint club event this year, due to covid restrictions but we hope you are all able to enjoy some much deserved celebrations after what has been a difficult year! Thank you to all our parents, players and coaches for their per- severance and support this season. Child Welfare Officer Required As our current Child Welfare Officer is stepping down at the end of the season, we are looking for a new person to join our committee and fill this role. The main purpose of the role is to assist with the safeguarding and protecting of children and young people in our club. You would be joining a very dedicat- ed group of volunteers who will support you, and full training, including any qualifications required will be given/funded by the club. New Players Required A number of our teams are currently looking for new players to join their squads – U7 ’ s, U9 ’ s, U11 ’ s, U15 ’ S and U16 ’ S, please contact our chairman for more information. Dribblers Coach Required We are looking for a new coach to take charge of our ‘ big drib- blers ’ sessions (school year 1). These currently take place on a Saturday from 9am, but this could be adjusted to suit if neces- sary. Our Dribblers sessions are now split into two - older dribblers (school year 1) and younger dribblers (age 3 and above). Older dribblers play on a Saturday from 9am, younger dribblers play on a Sunday morning from 9am. We also run weekly development sessions. The aim of these sessions is to give children aged U7 - U10 (school years 2 - 5) a chance to learn the skills they need to assist them in the future with finding a team – please contact us for more details.
