We are really missing the children and sad not to have had the chance to do all the VE Day activities we had planned, but it has been fantastic to see Facebook and online learning journal updates from their families, letting us see all the fun they ’ ve been having in the good weather, the VE Day celebrations they ’ ve been involved in and all the learn- ing they ’ ve done, too! We ’ ve been doing our best to keep the children busy during this time by suggesting lots of activities they can do at home, while we ’ ve been planning as best we can for the themes and activities we can use in our curriculum once we return and the fundraising events we can hold. We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy and can ’ t wait to see our children, their families (and each other!) once it ’ s safe to do so. Don ’ t forget that our waiting list is still open for when we reopen—you can find it on our website in the dropdown menu under ‘ Our Preschool ’ tab. We will also be collating a list of activities and sites there under its own page, so look out for a Home Activities Page (which should be live by the time you read this!). Our very best wishes to you all.
