10 Buckden Roundabout June 2022 For Your Diary John Gaughan comes to Perry John Gaughan, who once sang with Herman ’ s Hermits, is coming to Perry! On Friday 10 th June he and his wife Linda will be at Perry Baptist Church at 7pm. He will sing the songs many of you will be familiar with and reveal the journey of life that has led him to where he is now. If you wish to attend please phone Jon Magee 01480 700810. John Gaughan was catapulted into fame and fortune in the music business as a young man in the early 1970‘ s. John worked with the Cook/Greenaway team as an in - house singer & songwriter and contributed his classic pop vocals on many recordings. The Cook/Greenaway team had worldwide success with a string of block- buster hits including several number 1's and scores of top ten hits in the U.K., U.S.A. and International mar- kets. John himself worked with many famous names including The Seekers, Marmalade, The Hollies, The For- tunes, The Drifters, rubbing shoulders with legendary pop producers such as Sir George Martin. It seems he “ was into something good ”, yet John says there was something better for him. He will reveal all at Perry Baptist Church on Friday 10 th June.
