11 Buckden Roundabout November 2020 For Your Diary Huntingdonshire Health Walk Scheme November 2020 Apologies for having been unable to report last month that health walks, in necessarily restricted form, had in fact restarted, and are hopefully continuing....that's the good news as of now! But, for certainty, please check the official websites for any possible changes (see end of article). If you wish to join a walk, you must pre - book through One Lei- sure up to 7 days in advance, via tel.no. 01480 388111, or via www.oneleisure.net, or via the One Leisure App. Unfortunately, there is now only one walk per week from one single venue. For the Huntingdon group, the November venue is the Hinchingbrooke Country Park Café, PE29 6DB, and the walks are on the Wednesdays -- 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th -- at 2pm. If you wish to join another group or groups, please check with the huntingdonshire.gov website, or 'phone 01480 388218. As winter unfolds, please wear suitable clothing and footwear, and carry a small bottle of water to avoid dehydration. At each meeting we either have a guest speaker or par- ticipate in an activity of our own. We then enjoy a cup of tea and biscuits, and participate in a raffle. As you will already know, all Monday Club meetings have unfortunately had to be suspended for the im- mediate future. Regretfully due to the coronavirus a decision has been made in line with government advice to cancel the our HARS Club meetings. We will review the meetings on a month by month basis until the health crisis is over.
