Although we were unable to hold our usual Coffee Morning Fundraiser due to COVID restrictions at the time, Buckden and District Churches Together are very grateful to the residents of Buckden for their generosity in donations for the 2021 Christian Aid campaign. So many people in other parts of the world are struggling to survive due to the negative effects of climate change. Christian Aid works hard alongside other organisations to alleviate pov- erty and provide practical solutions wherever it can - so every penny raised really makes a difference! The total raised from the donations via the Christian Aid enve- lope distribution in May/June of this year came to £596.32. £325.00 of this was Gift - Aided therefore adding an additional amount of £81.25 , bringing the total to £677.57 raised - a fan- tastic amount! A big, big thankyou to everyone who was able to donate in any way!
