Buckden Parish Council response to appeal decison

Many people reading this will already know that the Inspector who heard the appeal against planning permission refusal for a development of 180 houses off Luck’s Lane has allowed the appeal and granted outline planning permission to Gladman (the developer), for the development.

The outline planning application for 180 houses off Luck’s Lane submitted by Gladman’s has been received by HDC, and stakeholders, including residents of Buckden, can comment on the proposals. It would be very helpful for the Huntingdonshire District Council to hear your views when they are making their decision. Please note that comments will not be confidential.

Highways England have published a newsletter about the work to upgrade the A14.

At an Extraordinary Council Meeting of Buckden Parish Council on 26th April 2016, the Council voted to recommend refusal of the application to build 180 houses off Lucks Lane.

Owing to problems at the printer, the delivery of the April 2016 edition of the Buckden Roundabout will be delayed by a few days.
