The cover photo this month was provided by Des Trant-
er and shows a heron at Buckden Marina.
We are always looking for photos, images, drawings and
paintings to use on the front cover so please keep send-
ing them in. Please note that photos should ideally be in
portrait format and should be a
minimum
of 2400 x
1700 pixels. More is better!
All advertisements and non-advertising material are printed in

Welcome to Autumn! The nights are starting to draw in and the trees are turning to rust. The colours of autumn are
a delight to see, but the same cannot be said of the weather!
The summer is often a busy time for the village with both the Village Festival and Buckfest in July, various holiday
activities in August and then back-to-school in September. However, for the Roundabout team, the August and Sep-
tember editions are often quieter as many of our contributors are on holiday and many of the councils, societies and
clubs do not meet in August!
We’d like to make another plea for autumnal photos. We have been lucky thus far with both the quality and quanti-
ty of photos we have received with a spring and summer theme. What we need now are a similar portfolio of au-
tumnal and winter photos! The changing colours of the next few weeks should provide ample opportunity for this,
so we ask all photographers to get snapping!
