Cambridgeshire Police

Police officers from St Neots located and subsequently destroyed a Cannabis factory found at a residential property in High

Street, Offord Darcy. Over 100 cannabis plants have been removed from the location. A 50 year old man is now under investiga-

tion on suspicion of the production of cannabis. The above could not have happened without Neighbourhood Watch and local

Community Policing working together to pass the information forward. This is why it is so important to share information,

whether you feel it small and unimportant it may lead to bigger things. If you have information you would like to share you can

safely email me or try the mobile number, both listed below.

Rogue Traders are again on the prowl, with vans slowly driving through the villages asking if you would like your driveway pow-

er washed, tree work carried out or other small building jobs. Please be aware of these vehicles, they are concentrating on the

vulnerable areas of your village. To highlight this, we have an elderly resident in a neighbouring village who is a repeat victim of

these rogue traders having given in excess of £20,000 for work carried out very poorly. They continue to visit her, but hopefully

we now have safeguarding in place to prevent any further payments. If you are also a victim of these traders you can safely

email me to discuss the issues you are having. Please don’t keep it to yourself, we can help you.

We are still getting reports of children climbing on the roof of the primary school, this is not only dangerous it is also trespassing

and there is a good possibility that criminal damage could occur. Please make sure that your children are aware that if caught

they could face criminal charges.

I wish you all a very happy and safe summer.

Please keep safe and remember to report any suspicious activity on 101.
