We are in the process of preparing the Register of Electors for Huntingdonshire by canvassing properties who have not responded to forms asking who is resident in the property. Therefore I’m enquiring as to whether you know of a friend or family member living in the town or parish who would be interested in taking part this year to door knock properties. You will get 50p for each initial visit or delivery and a further £1.50 for every successful response whether you collect a form, receive a response via the telephone, internet or text service.
In terms of the timetable, I anticipate visits to commence mid- October to be concluded by the end of November. This will include evening and weekend work with a minimum of one visit.
Please contact me if you are interested in assisting with the specific area that you would like to cover. I already have some canvass areas already allocated but am still short of canvassers for some parishes and parts of the towns.
