FRIENDS IN DEED

The Winter Tea Party was very successful with a record number attending, so thanks to all who

helped out and to all who came along to make it an enjoyable afternoon.

A reminder!

Monday April 11th 2016 is our Training Day -

Everyday First Aid Skills

. It covers all

those ‘first aid’ situations that you might come across, ranging from bleeding, burns and choking

to heart attacks, seizures and severe allergic reactions. There will be an opportunity to have a go with a training

defibrillator and a resuscitation dummy. A small charge will be made for this course - £4 for Friends in Deed mem-

bers and £5 for anyone else. The charge covers the cost of the First Aid books, and contributes to the training

and travel of the volunteers running the course.

The course will be held in the Millard Suite, Buckden Millenium Centre from 2.00pm until 5.00pm. Everyone is

welcome to come along and you do not have to be a member of Friends in Deed to participate. Just a few places

left so if you would like to attend please contact Angie Bruce as soon as possible at

angie@aggies.com

or call

her on 810056 to book your place. Light refreshments will be provided.

The Drop-in Café is held on the second Wednesday of each month in the Living Stones Room in St Mary’s Church

from 1430 to 1600 - all welcome, tea and homemade cakes, and transport can be provided!
