Badgers in Buckden

Last night a badger was seen in our garden. It backs on to the Towers so access is relatively easy. It is the first badger we have seen in the village and would like to know if anyone has any information on the history of these animals in our village.

I can't comment on the history of badgers in Buckden, but a number of people in Mill Road within the village have told me they see badgers in their gardens. We have seen evidence (footprints, latrines) in ours, but never an actual badger - they just seem to be passing through. I often wonder where the setts are.
