Knit Lit
Do you enjoy knitting and a good book? Our friendly group
meets on alternate Fridays. In August Knit Lit meetings are on Fri-
day 2nd, 16th and 30th from 8pm. Knitters of all ages and abilities
welcome!
Summer Reading Challenge - Space Chase
Buckden Library challenges you to read 6 library books during the
long summer holiday! For each book read you can collect a sticker.
Collect all 6 stickers and you will receive a Certificate & Medal at our
award ceremony in September. The Reading Challenge is suitable
for children aged 3 - 11. Sign up for this free event in the Library

library! Hunt them out if you can. Suitable for children aged 5+, 20p

The Animal Experience - Thursday 8th August - 10am - 12.00 noon
With over 24 years of experience The Animal Experience are bring-
ing their interactive and fun animal handling day to Buckden Library.
Learn all about rare and unusual animals with an opportunity to
handle them. Suitable for children aged 3 and over, who must be
accompanied by an adult.
Tickets are £3 per child and are available at Buckden Library. Event
kindly supported by Buckden Parish Council.
