Still our best selling beer, Buckden Bronze Bitter, is a classic bitter, golden amber in colour, with gentle
nut and caramel notes from the malt, complemented by a balancing hoppy sharpness, the bitterness is
derived from both hops and toasted malt, which builds to a dry finish. ABV 4.1%
Buckden ‘Black’ Porter is a dark beer but not too heavy. Dark garnet brown in colour with a welcoming
aroma of biscuity malt, with a touch of liquorice and fruit. On the sweet side of bittersweet with bitter
roasted grain and contrasting fruit notes. Well roasted grain dominates the dry, bitter finish. ABV 3.8%
Buckden Pale Ale has light notes of caramel and honey with a follow on aroma of peaches and cream. A
light crisp Ale that would appeal to Lager drinkers can be served at a refreshing lower temperature of
approx 10
o
C. ABV 4%
Buckden Ruby Bitter has an aroma of chocolate, orange and orchard fruits. There are caramel and biscuit
malt flavours. The hops add a tea-like note and a subtle fruitiness with a hint of strawberry. Hops quickly
take
over in a dry,
bitter finish. ABV 4.6%
