Front Cover
This month’s cover photograph was taken on the footpath
from the Anglia Water road to Diddington Park (footpath B3)
by Alec MacAndrew. As ever, we are very grateful.
We are looking for paintings of any kind that could use as a
front cover. We are also very keen to see images (photos or
paintings) of the village and surrounding areas in winter, and
other winter scenes, in preparation for future issues. We are
always looking for photos, images, drawings and paintings so
please keep sending them in. Please note that photos should
ideally be in portrait format and should be a
minimum
of
2400 x 1700 pixels. More is better!

February 2019
Firstly December is always a manic month as we have to pro-
duce 2 editions in a relatively short period of time so that the
January issue can be distributed before Christmas. This makes
it not only busy for us, but also our contributors and distribu-
tors. We are grateful to all that make this easier during this
busy period.
We held our now traditional Christmas coffee morning in the
Living Stones Room at St Mary’s church. Many thanks to all
those that attended, and I believe an enjoyable morning was
had by all.
I am delighted to tell you that Wendy Trattner has joined us
on the Roundabout editorial team. Wendy has been a regular
visitor to Buckden for many years and finally moved here last
year. Welcome, Wendy!
I would like to draw you attention to 2 requests on behalf of
the Roundabout team.
Firstly, we are still on the lookout for images that we can use
on the cover. We are particularly keen to receive any
paintings that we could use. We are also looking for winter
scenes that can be either photos or paintings.
Secondly, we still need an additional member of the team to
help with our advertising. There are more details on page 4,
but I can promise you we are all really quite friendly, the
meetings are relaxed (with wine!) and we have a lovely works
outing each year!
Please remember to visit the Roundabout website. There are
often articles there that we could not fit into the print edition,
as well as information that arrives during the month:
