Buckden Roundabout

February 2019

Huntingdonshire Health Walk Scheme

Huntingdon Group February 2019

With <30 different routes, the Huntingdon Group walks for

about one hour behind trained walk leaders every Wednesday

starting at 2pm and Friday at 10am, excluding public holidays.

Two of February's eight walks -- on the 13th and on the 22nd --

are from the Village Hall car park. For details, please see be-

low.

Health walking is for anyone who can maintain his/her exercise

-walking pace for between 45 and 85 minutes. All-weather

clothing and footwear are key, and carrying a bottle of drinking

water is recommended. The scheme includes insurance cover

and, being also subsidised, welcomes voluntary contributions.

Venues are usually near refreshment areas, so choosing to re-

lax after the beneficial walk over a welcome cuppa may well

add to the over-all experience.
