Huntingdonshire Health Walk Scheme
July 2019
This month, the group will be walking on the 5 Wednesdays at
2pm and the 4 Fridays at 10am, 9 out of 29 safe, average 1
hour, walks, with trained leaders. July 24th's walk is from the
village hall car park, and July 5th's walk starts at the Marina car
park. The website (see below) shows full details.
The rendezvous for July 25th's walk is the Black Bull Pub, 32
Post Street, Godmanchester, PE29 2AQ.
Anyone who can walk comfortably for up to 75 minutes at ex-
ercise pace will be welcome. Suitable clothing and footwear
plus a bottle of drinking water are important accessories.
The subsidised scheme includes accident insurance cover, so
voluntary contributions are welcomed. Refreshment/toilet
facilities are usually available at the various rendezvous.

MONDAY CLUB
We are a social group of retired ladies who meet fortnightly
at 2.30pm in the Millard Room at Buckden Village Hall.
We enjoy a cup of tea as we chat and participate in a raffle.
At each meeting we either have a guest speaker or partici-
pate in an activity of our own.
