Front Cover
The cover photo this month was supplied by Peter Sharpe. As
ever, we are very grateful to one of our readers for a great
spring cover photo!
We are looking for paintings of any kind that could use as a
front cover. We are also very keen to see images (photos or
paintings) of the village and surrounding areas in winter, and
other winter scenes, in preparation for future issues. We are
always looking for photos, images, drawings and paintings so
please keep sending them in. Please note that photos should
ideally be in portrait format and should be a
minimum
of
2400 x 1700 pixels. More is better!
All advertisements and non-advertising material are printed in
good faith. Neither the Buckden Roundabout nor the Buck-
den Parish Council can accept any responsibility for the con-
tent of the advertisements, the services provided by the ad-
vertisers or any statements made in the advertisements or
non-advertising material.
No part of this publication may be reproduced or stored with-
out the express permission of the Editor of the Buckden
Roundabout.

HOWEVER, SPACE IS ALLOCATED ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED, BASIS.

I realise I may be tempting fate somewhat, but sitting here
finalising the March edition, and seeing bright blue skies and
sunshine through my window, I can’t help but think that we
have been quite fortunate with the weather so far this winter.
Little snow to speak of, and very few really cold days. I am
sure that has implications for the rest of the year, but I am
enjoying it nonetheless!
It has been a busy couple of weeks at Roundabout HQ. We
were informed in late January by Huntingdonshire DC (who
we were using to print the magazine) that they were going to
have to stop accepting print jobs from anybody outside HDC
itself. In fact, the printing of Buckden Roundabout has been
fulfilled by a third party supplier for some months! After a
comprehensive selection process, we have identified a new
supplier that can maintain the quality we, and our readers,
are used to. We hope you agree that the high standards have
continued!
I am going to make yet another call for someone in the village,
who has a little time to spare, to join our editorial team - to
assist with advertising and payments, contacting and co-
ordinating our advertisers. No prior experience is needed. All
we need is just a couple of hours of your time each month.
The Roundabout editorial team is a friendly, welcoming group.

Finally, an early ‘keep-the-date’ for our contributors and dis-
tributors. The Roundabout Summer Social will take place on
the evening of Thursday July 25th, starting at about 6pm.
