Giving something back to our Earth

We have a beautiful world, tragically threatened by careless

human actions. It’s a small thing, but we give our time volun-

tarily to try and prevent a bit less plastic getting washed

downstream. This year alone we’ve collected more than 60

sacks in Buckden!

Two Performances of PLAYBACK THEATRE

At the CLARET CENTRE, BUCKDEN TOWERS

4pm - 5.30pm

Saturday 6 July & Thursday 8 August

FREE – All welcome

Come and be surprised, entertained, enlightened! These are

performances by students on the foundation course of the

School of Playback Theatre UK as part of their training expe-

rience.

Playback Theatre

is an improvisational participatory theatre

form which first started in upstate New York with the origi-

nal Playback Theatre Company in 1975 and has since then

become a worldwide movement with groups and practition-

ers across the globe. They are active in a wide range of appli-

cations... from social services and education, to corporate

training and events, to supporting recovery in trauma and

crisis contexts, as well as community gatherings and celebra-

tions. Inviting personal stories from the audience, and re-

enacting them with artistry and respect, Playback Theatre

has the power to enable dialogue, generate empathy, and

build bridges of understanding between

people.

This event is hosted by the School of

Playback Theatre UK.
