Huntingdonshire Health Walk Scheme
November 2019
On the four Wednesdays in November at 2pm and also the five
Fridays at 10am, 9 different health walks will take place.
The Huntingdon group has 30 approximately one-hour walks,
led by trained walk-leaders.
The walk on the 1st November is from the Marina car park.
Health walks are fine for anyone able to maintain an exercise-
walking pace for up to 75 minutes. Suitable clothing and foot-
wear plus a small bottle of drinking water are key accessories.
The scheme, largely financed by council subsidies, values vol-
untary contributions by walkers; accident insurance cover is
provided.
Refreshment and toilet facilities are normally provided at the
chosen rendezvous.
Please note that there are also 20-30-minute walks from the
Buckden GP Surgery every Thursday from 10am.

MONDAY CLUB
We are a social group of retired ladies who meet fortnightly
at 2.30pm in the Millard Room at Buckden Village Hall.
We enjoy a cup of tea as we chat and participate in a raffle.
At each meeting we either have a guest speaker or partici-
pate in an activity of our own.
