free information, advice and support for the over 65s and
their families. No appointment needed, just drop in for help
and guidance on how to continue to live independently.
Engage Event – Digging For Buckden – Wednesday 20

A talk on Buckden’s ancient past, looking at evidence uncov-
ered at the recent archaeological investigations on the Lucks
Lane site. Presented by site volunteer Barry Jobling (from our
local History Society) and James Fairbairn (from Oxford Ar-
chaeology). This is a free event but booking is essential – call
in to the library for your ticket, or email

Craft Club – Saturday 16

Get creative with our popular craft session! Suitable for chil-
dren aged 5+ accompanied by an adult - 50p per child.
Storytime – Tuesdays at 2.15
Our Storytime sessions continue every Tuesday afternoon.
Pre-school children of all ages welcome for stories, rhymes
and songs. These free of charge sessions are a great way to
encourage our youngest library users to love books. Children
must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Lego Club – Saturday 30

See what you can build at our Lego Club and add to our Lego
display. Suitable for accompanied children aged 5-11. Duplo
is also available for the under 5s. 50p per child.
